Inflatable and illuminated are two words we’re not used to seeing together when describing furniture. But Ludo has perfected the fusion with a seriously fashionable furniture line.
Ludo Furniture is a fantastic solution for seating at events, hotels, ‘pop-up’ stores, reception rooms as well as at home beside or in the pool.
The range is made from recycled materials and they try to use environmentally friendly products where possible. Ludo also seeks to reduce its carbon footprint as a result of limited storage and minimised weight/transport requirements.
The advantages of an inflatable product are that it’s lightweight and compact, easy to transport, easy to store as well as being a highly resistant, quality and affordable design.
Based on an inflatable TPU structure (thermoplastic polyurethane) and a textile cover, this furniture is ideal for both outdoor and indoor spaces.
Despite only launching the line in March this year, the demand within the Australian design sector has been overwhelming.
The beautifully crafted contemporary shapes offer comfort and flexibility within the casual furniture market. Ludo Furniture are also designed and made in Australia with a strong focus on high quality fabrics.
Ludo Furniture are currently working on an outdoor bean-filled range of loungers using fade and water resistant fabrics, along with a contemporary European linen interior range which they also hope to have on display at Decoration + Design.
“We believe the D+D Melbourne to be the perfect launch pad for our brand of furniture — providing visitors to our stand, exciting new concepts in design, comfort and versatility,” said Jules Gower, Ludo Furniture.
